Joann, Marli, Jaelyn and I drove to Montana in August to visit family. Joann and the girls spent time with their Grandma Johnson and Joann's brother, Daniel, and they had a wonderful time at the Fair, swimming and visiting with friends.
My family got together (the first time in 11 years that all five kids were together) in Billings at my Dad's house and it was great to see them all. Karen (the middle sister) planned a girls night where we drank, talked and laughed - and laughed and laughed. Then we got together for a family BBQ with all the available brothers, sisters, in-laws, out-laws and assorted kids. As you can see, the "kids" posed for a picture in order of age. We used to have this picture taken for Christmas cards but it looked a lot different then. I was always the tallest and the rest of the kids stood in order of height and age - which worked out perfectly. Now the brothers have grown taller and thrown off the line, but we're all there. It was nice to see everyone and remember some of our favorite memories from the past. Dad and Donna were great hosts to put with us all and open their house and yard for us.

It's nice to see you back in the blogging world and catch up with you. I need to put something on mine too. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. Some people post daily, my life is much to boring to do that.
