Camping at the beach in May - brrrrrrr

Here we are deciding on what to do next. That's Steve and Michelle and Clarity by the camper. That's our rig - we love it. The one covering her face is Marli. We plan on trying to get out a lot this summer. We're planning at week at the Rogue River - I'll post from there. We've heard it's amazingly beautiful.

Marli and Gran keeping an eye on the fire. The sun was shining every day but the wind was pretty bad two of the three days. As you can see, we're wearing coats in all the pictures. Cape Kiwanda campground does have an indoor pool so the girls got to swim even though the weather wasn't right for beach swimming.

Jaelyn and Clarity had a good time together camping at the beach. Clarity kept trying to lift the biggest rocks and Jaelyn encouraged her. It's amazing how quickly those little minds pick up the right sounds for rock lifting. Jaelyn was a great "big sister" to Clarity while we were there.

We spent a weekend at Cape Kiwanda and had a good time. The weather wasn't the greatest, but at the beach it's all good. Steve, Michelle and Clarity had already had to go back since Clarity was really sick (but she's much better now) so they didn't get to go down the beach on the only day it wasn't windy.
