Marli and Jaelyn ice skating

Marli and Jaelyn are taking ice skating lessons and loving it. They take the lessons on the ice inside the Lloyd Center Mall in dowtown Portland. The first picture shows them listening closely to their instructor. She was surprised that they had never skated before.
Jaelyn going through her paces. They take lessons for 1/2 hour once a week and then try to get in at least 4 hours of skating every week. They can't wait to see if they get white ice skates for Christmas.
Marli practices and practices. She wants to do spins and jumps and wants to do them right now. They're sure cute to watch. They had to start in the beginner class with kids of all ages. Some of them are so small and some of the more advanced skaters are also just tiny
Here's Marli showing us her latest trick. It's fun to watch them and they never seem to get tired. They do say that the ice is cold and hard when you fall down so they try really hard not to do that.
